The cornerstone of the West Shore Elk’s food and beverage team is our own Jami Allen. He has spent the better part of his life in the industry. His experience includes banquet and catering manager at the Mechanicsburg Navy Base Officers Club and Enlisted Mess. He worked for GF management in the position of food and beverage director for several of their properties including Four Points Sheraton, Historic Brunswick Hotel of Lancaster, Holiday Inn and more. Locally as a general manager he spent well over ten years at three different properties operated by the Rillo family. Besides being a hands on General Manager at two restaurants and a banquet facility, he helped spearhead their off premise catering operations. In this capacity he worked extensively providing custom catering for a wide variety of clients including super stars like Frank Sinatra, Reba, U2 and many more over a period of several years. Jami is passionate about the Elk’s and what they stand for as well as the products and services we offer. He will more than likely be the first person you meet and last person you talk to should you decide to allow us to be of service.
At the West Shore Elk’s we stand proud to have our culinary service directed by Executive Chef Joseph Koza. Not wandering far from his home of Portage Pennsylvania Joe received his culinary education at Penn State University in University Park where he remained for several years working alongside established executive chefs at the area’s top restaurants and hotels. Joe came to our area in the late 80’s where he flourished managing a high volume food and beverage operation for well over twenty years as Executive Chef for GF Management. While Joe was on board the company ranked as one of the top ten hotel management corporations in the United States. Joe is a man of family and faith who takes pride in what he does.
