Elks National Foundation

elks national foundationWith a grant of $100,000, the Elks National Foundation was established in 1928 as the charitable arm of
the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. The mission is to help Elks build stronger communities.
All unrestricted donations go into a permanent endowment fund where each gift earns interest for a
lifetime. Your gift will never be touched. Only the income earned by this fund can be used to support
charitable programs.

The Foundation provides Elks with the resources to transform their communities in five strategic areas:
1. Assisting more than 2000 college students each year in achieving their academic dreams.
2. Promoting constructive and cooperative solutions to youth substance abuse.
3. Encouraging youth to lead healthy lifestyles.
4. Supporting local volunteers in their efforts to provide care to hospitalized and homeless veterans.
5. Providing Elks with the means to support local community service projects.

The membership fee for the Elks National Foundation is $100. This can be paid in full or in 10 annual
installments of $10.00 each. You will receive a reminder from the ENF each year when your payment is
due. If you would like to make a donation, please contact the lodge secretary for an application. All
contributions should be made through the lodge.
