In the early hours of Sunday, April 27rd, 14 dedicated Elks gathered to give Lodge 2257 some TLC.
Trustee Jami Allen secured the mulch and the rest of the team weeded, trimmed trees and shrubs, cleaned up debris and relocated some plants. With a large group helping, the work only took about 2 hours.
Another team of 4 worked tirelessly to clean up the store room. Janet McGinley, Pat Reeser, Sue Bruker and Tina Welch organized the decorations, special event supplies and committee supplies. They also started reviewing the Harrisburg supplies and memorabilia as the merger of Lodges continues.
